Tanning Facilities Program

Our personnel, trained and certified by the Illinois Department of Public Health, inspect indoor tanning facilities throughout the County, except those located within the jurisdiction of other State recognized, full-time, public health departments.

The tanning facilities and devices are inspected to ensure compliance with Federal and State requirements for proper construction, maintenance and operation.
