Mobile Home Park Program
This program regulates and licenses mobile home parks, mobile home communities, and manufactured home communities in areas that do not have any municipal regulations or licenses. The parks that the Cook County Department of Public Health regulates are located primarily in the unincorporated area of Cook County. There are twelve mobile home parks that are located in the unincorporated area. This program addresses spacing issues, sewer and water connections, insect and rodent control, collection and storage of garbage and refuse; this program does not address issues emanating from inside the individual units.
